One of my husband fav Breakfast... it is easy and simple to make... you can serve it with Tomato Sauce or green chuttney ...
Ingredients:
Onion 1
Tomato 1
Rai / Musturd seeds
Channa and Urad Dal 1tbsp
Potato 1 (boiled)
Green Chilli 1
Jeera
Red Chilli powder / Lal mirch
Salt to taste
Garam Masala
Dhaniya / Coriander Leaves
Roasted Peanuts 1/4 Cup
Oil
4-5 slice of bread
Method:
- Finely chop onion, tomato & green chilli.
- Heat oil in a pan & add peanut and mustard seeds. When they start spluttering, add Channa dal, urad dal, curry leaves, chopped green chili & onion.
- Fry till the onions are golden & then add chopped tomato
- When masala is ready add Boiled potato and all dry masala
- when done ... Sprinkle water on bread piece... donot soak them,
- Add Bread and fry them for few minutes
- Garnish it with Coriander Leaves
It is very delicious and healthy breakfast.
